Sadie Jay just out of hospital, only wants to be sitting in her beanbag and won't accept her bottle any other way. She was a prem baby who has some related health issues that make feeding difficult and unenjoyable for her. Most days the only place she will drink is in her bean bag. I honestly don't know what we would do without it. It comes everywhere with us including daycare and hospital. While she often gets irritable after some time on the floor she will happily sit and play with her toys for long periods of time in her bean bag which is great when I need to get some housework done. Hi guys, my name is Donna and I am a hands on Grandmother playing a massive role in raising my drop dead gorgeous grandson. Together as a family, we sponsor and pay all education costs for several children in Vanuatu. We also use a portion of PODS & SODS profit to donate educatioal and personal goods to many other children and their families on the remote islands. Last year when we visited, we gifted more than 80 kilos and returned home leaving a massive chunk of our hearts there with the children. It is a learning curve for our grandson as he sees that not all children in the world have a house to live in or shoes on their feet. They don’t go to a lovely school like he does with chairs to sit on, tables to work on or a roof overhead to protect them from the hot sun. They don’t have toys, electricity or a sandwich in their lunch box. But what they do have weighs much more than materialistic goods. They have the biggest smiles, warmest hearts and give the best hugs. “We all smile in the same language”.

From time to time I will even list a range of 'Tie-Dyed' products for sale and these result from some seriously fun craft hours that Cody and I spend together. We are located in paradise, more commonly known as Hervey Bay QLD.

Pods and Sods is a family owned business and we aim to sell practical and adorable products that will make a positive difference in mums and bubs life. Speaking of life, we know only too well how incredibly hectic it can get for so many families today so it was paramount that we could offer customers the ease of purchasing from the comfort of their lounge room whilst bubby slept or while sitting relaxing after a long day at work.

Our online story began several years ago as a hobby on eBay whilst housebound due to critical health issues and also nursing my very precious father in his final years. It then progressed into a Facebook store reaching thousands of customers, many of whom have become close friends and just another of the many reasons why I love what I do.

Pods & Sods has continued to flourish and grow and now being cancer free, it feels like the perfect time to take it to that next level and here we are launching our new and exciting website.

I pride myself on customer service and strive to satisfy all past, present, future and return customers. Word of mouth is key.

My passion has always been with my Bean Bag Chairs. Years ago I saw a similar chair and immediately had visions of where I could take the idea and improve it. I felt there was a gap in the market and I knew I could offer an amazing product for newborn babies / toddlers with special needs. After a lot of research both here and overseas, listening to mothers groups, and sourcing a manufacturer, Pods & Sods launched its first baby bean bag chair. The comfort and therapeutic benefits were widely appreciated and I was humbled by all the wonderful feedback coming back to me from over joyed customers. Our sales were reaching the US, UK, New Zealand, South Africa, Germany and we even received photos back from a valued customer in Uganda. It wasn't long before I realised the need for our bean bag chairs extended beyond toddler years and the rest as they say is history.

Today we are proud to say we sell a large range of colours and designs in THREE sizes catering to all ages and abilities. The smaller newborn size can be purchased through different companies but our Large Size, Large Size with Harness and our Adult Size can only be purchased through Pods & Sods.

Now in conjunction with the launch of this amazing website, we want to give back to our customers and offer a little more variety. We will continue to add new baby and nursery related products, bringing the latest and best products and service to you.
